Mike, originally from Great Britain, has been teaching yoga for over 15 years. Years of boxing and other strenuous sports made his body too tight but yoga softened and corrected his body to such an extent, that he now shares the knowledge of yoga to all his students in the hope that they can do the same.
His classes are suitable for beginners and beyond. The use of props such as blocks, belts and cushions helps everyone achieve balance and a level of comfort in the asanas, regardless of strength and flexibility.
In Yoga House & Spa, Mike makes Hatha/Iyengar yoga classes (basically Hatha yoga classes incorporating the precision and alignment from Iyengar Yoga but with the softness of other styles such as Sivananda) and Yin yoga classes (meditative, slow style of yoga where asanas are held for a few minutes).
